Hereafter LIMOS 4U shall be known as 'The Company' and the person named overleaf, shall be known as 'The Hirer'. It will be deemed that The Hirer accepts responsibility by himself/herself for every person in his/her party and fully agrees to the conditions of hire as follows:

1. a) All verbal and written enquiries are quotes until a deposit is received of not less than £50.00, before it is accepted as a positive booking.
b) Once a positive booking has been made, the remaining balance is due for payment 14 days prior to date of hire (with exceptions to :).
c) On weddings and special hires, e.g. daily hire, Market Rasen etc., payment in full must be received at least 28 days before date of hire. If payment is not received by that date the booking will automatically be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.
d) On all short term bookings, full payment must be made in full at least 14 days prior to allow cheque clearance or for cash payments one day prior in person to commencement of journey (subject to company's discretion).
2. a) In the event of cancellation, any deposit will be forfeited, however, unavoidable circumstances, e.g. bereavement, deposits may be refunded at the discretion of The Company.
b) No refund will be given on full payments made by The Hirer if cancellation is made after the 28 day stated above.
3. No responsibility can be accepted for adverse weather conditions (e.g. snow, flooding etc.) which may cause delay or cancellation of a booking by The Company.
4. Whilst every effort is offered to the service ability of the vehicles no responsibility can be accepted for mechanical, electrical or material breakdown how so ever caused. In the unlikely event every effort will be made for the immediate repair to the vehicle so that the journey can continue or The Hirer win be transferred to another vehicle(s) and any reasonable extra costs incurred will be bore by The Company or a refund given. Note: In the event of conditions 3 & 4 or any other breakdown and/or accident, no responsibility will be accepted for missed connections and/or functions how so ever caused.
5. In the event of a breakdown or accident to the vehicle prior to the date of booking every effort will be made to supply a similar alternative vehicle(s) at The Company's discretion. If this is not acceptable to The Hirer a refund will be made of monies paid.
6. The consumption of food/food products and such like is not permitted inside the vehicle, unless this was previously agreed at the time of booking.
7. The Company at no time takes responsibility for The Hirer or any member of his/her party for damage to their own belongings (e.g. spillages etc.)
8. The Hirer shall be fully responsible and liable for any damage caused both inside and outside the vehicles(s) by The Hirer or any member of his/her party, how so ever caused. This includes incitement to any third party which results in damage to the vehicle or its contents. The Hirer will agree to be liable for the total retail cost of the repair and the location of the repairer will be determined by The Company. In addition, The Hirer will be liable to pay to The Company a fixed daily rate (determined by The Company) while the vehicle is out of commission for such repairs, plus any further incurred losses (i.e. by lost bookings).
9. The Company at no time takes responsibility for The Hirer's or any member of his/her party's items/goods used or left in the vehicle(s). The Hirer must make sure all items, goods or belongings, belonging to The Hirer or any of his/her party are removed at the end of each rental term.
10. The Company or its representative (e.g. chauffeur) reserves the right to refuse entry to the vehicle(s) to any person(s) they deem unfit for what so ever reason and can refuse to continue the journey if any person(s) behave in a manner which may be detrimental to other person(s) or to the vehicle and its contents. In this event no refund will be given.
11. A £150 valeting charge will be levied through misuse by The Hirer from food, drink or illness or whatever the retail cost may be if in excess of the amount to rectify said damage caused (must be paid at time of hire).
12. Any extra requests or alterations to the booking (e.g. additional pickup points or change of venue causing extra mileage or time not made at time of booking/confirmation cannot necessarily be entertained, although every effort will be made to meet these requirements if notified 24 hours before start of hire (extra costs may be incurred).
13. Once a booking is made and confirmed and deposit paid, the price quoted to The Hirer will not be subject to alteration unless there is any deviation from the details of the booking (see conditions 11 and 12).
14. The Company's discretion shall be decided by the proprietor of The Company at all times and his discretion shall be fully binding in all matters,
15. It is a legal requirement that all passengers in forward-facing seats wear a seat belt.
16. The Hirer is liable for all glassware breakages at a replacement cost of £10 per glass.
17. Due to insurance restrictions/licensing authorities our limousines have been designated NON SMOKING and any infringement of this policy will deem the rental invalid. All monies paid will be forfeited and the rental terminated.
